Today has been a different day, but I am learning to be thankful for it! I had hurt my knee somehow back in September but not sure how, and it went away close to November and then returned during thanksgiving. Today, I landed on it pretty bad and then had a door hit it to finish it off (well not literally). I started askin y? Y is this happening, I want to work, I don't want to be hindered. I pretty much was about to start to complain. Then I remembered the story of Jacob/Israel when he wrestled with the angel. Israel had his hip put out of joint, and he lived with it to be a reminder of how He couldn't do it! He had that pain and limp for the rest of his life! That made me stop and think. I am hurting right now, and I can probably be healed in time. My weakness and faultiness are evident, I cannot do anything, except rely on the Lord! I cannot do this on my own, I must look to the Lord and His strength.
God is strength. More importantly He is my strength!!! Whenever I am weak, He is strong! No matter what is going on, or how I feel, or how i am injured, God is strong enough to do anything. He can heal me, He can do ANYTHING, He is limitless. I am blown away, for I cannot even fathom how strong God is, in being limitless I can't totally understand it. Praise the Lord for a God who is strength!
Be of Good Courage, the God who is strength can do ANYTHING! He cannot be limited, He is omnipotent, All Powerful God.
"Therefore I take pleasure in my infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecution, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong." - II Cor. 12:10
