Family

It is Day 2, and I have my list all written out of all of the things that I am thankful for. Yet, the Lord changed what I would write about on here. I was going to write about how I am thankful for God's attributes one by one, however God changed my plan. It hit me I am blogging on being thankful and showing what attribute of God that it portrays, so I am showing my thanks for those attributes already. So when I had to come up with what I am thankful for second, I was like wow duh of course, my family. 


God has blessed me beyond belief with an amazing family! One that is devoted to serving the Lord and pleasing Him. I am gonna just list some ways of how I am thankful for my family.


- I am thankful for parents that teach me
- I am thankful for parents that disciplined me
- I am thankful for family that never gave up on me
- I am thankful for family that is strives to be there for me in the hard times and in the blessed
- I am thankful for the tough words that were needed, said to me by family
- I am thankful for a godly family, that leads me to serve the Lord
- I am thankful for a family with a servants heart, that taught and is teaching me to serve
- I am thankful for a family that gives, and keeps giving, looking for nothing in return
- I am thankful for a family that loves me when I am unlovable
- I am thankful for a family that prays


This list could go on and on, but now to choose what attribute of God this portrays. The attribute that struck me was God's Love once again. For if my family has showed me anything, it is that it is not about what they show me or teach me, but that I see God's Love and Charity through them to me and others. I know without a doubt my family loves me, yet my heavenly father loves me more that I can fathom. No matter what I do or say, God will love me the same, it doesn't change. He is Immutable, unchanging God. It is so kewl to think that I have a Supreme, Almighty, Unchangeable God who loves me despite my imperfect nature. He loves me, yet hates my sin. He wants the best for me, and has given me a new family. I am a child of the king now, once a child, always a child of the king, no matter what we do!

"Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." - Galatians 4:7
"O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good, because His mercy endureth forever." Psalm 118:1


So Be of Good Courage!!! God Loves u no matter what!!!
