Dependence

I am so thankful for dependence, but not on a person, but on God. I have come to realize that all of life is going to have tests and trials. We are being tested to see who we turn to, when there is only ONE  that can actually help. Going through the battles of my mind, and dealing with circumstances I wouldn't choose, pushes me to show my faith. Jerry Bridges in his book Trusting God says, "In order to trust God, we must always view our adverse circumstances through the eyes of faith, not of sense." This is the challenge, that when discouraged or when things seem bleak, as I have been, I need to live by faith and show it by my actions. 

My God is Trustworthy. He is looking out for my ultimate good and my best! He knows all (omniscient) and controls all (sovereign) and I can look to Him. He has given me everything I need in His Word! Even though I doubt and get discouraged, I can hope in the Lord!

Be of Good Courage, God is the only one you can ALWAYS  trust! He is ALWAYS  there for you!

"Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for His help, whose hope is in the Lord His God." - Ps. 146:5
